The
Justice Center works cooperatively with the North Carolina Low Income
Housing Coalition in addressing the enormous shortage of affordable,
safe housing throughout North Carolina. We believe, like the Coalition,
that housing is a basic human need, like food and health care, which
must be met if people are to grow and prosper as members of society.
Decent, safe, and affordable housing is a fundamental ingredient for
productive, healthy, and vibrant communities.
The Justice
Center and the NC Low Income Housing Coalition have developed a policy
agenda that will move North Carolina closer to the goal of every
North Carolinian having a safe, decent and affordable place to call
home.
